SharkBite Lead-Free Pex Adapter for connecting PEX tubing to a threaded pipe. Crafted from durable brass, this adapter ensures longevity and resistance to corrosion. It is compatible with both stainless steel cinch clamps and copper crimp rings (sold separately), offering versatility in installation. This adapter meets various industry standards, including ASTM F-876, ASTM F-877, NSF 14 & 61, CSA B137.5, and NSF CL-R, making it suitable for potable water systems and hot water systems with chlorinated 140 degrees Fahrenheit hot water. It complies with AB1953 California and VT S152 Vermont low lead restrictions, ensuring safety and quality.
