Lincoln Electric 5 lb. 1/8" x 14" 7018 All Position Stick Electrode Welding Sticks are designed for welding mild steel and many low alloy steels. They are great for low open circuit voltage AC power sources and cold restrikes are no problem. These electrodes weld with good deposit rates and flat or slightly convex beads have distinct ripples with little spatter. They have good low current and low open circuit voltage operation and are a general purpose low hydrogen electrode for AC application. The Lincoln 7018AC 1/8 inch Stick Electrode 5 pound is ideal for joining most hard-to-weld steels. This mild-steel, low-hydrogen electrode has a powdered-iron coating and can be used in steel structures, field erection, plants and rigs. Compatible with high-sulfur steels, low-alloy steels that can harden, high-tensile steels, medium and high carbon steels, cold-rolled steels and free-machining steels.
